A Shepherds Hut is the traditional answer to your accommodation needs. Our huts may be used as:

Each hut is individually crafted and built to last. They are warm and weather tight. Cast iron wheels on a rugged chassis give portability and the distinctive curved roof completes their unique appeal. 

As a “caravan” they are unlikely to require planning consent, and they can be moved by 4WD to different parts of your property, or taken with you when you move house.

The Duck Hunters Hut is the basic model with an end door and colour steel roof and walls.  Natural or stained pine floors, walls, ceilings and curved beams provide a pleasing interior.  The traditional half “stable door” and feature windows complete its appeal.

At the top of the range is the Artists Studio model with side French doors, solid tongue and groove wooden flooring, and natural macrocarpa panelling and beams. It is fully insulated and ply and batten clad.

Safe and sustainable products are used in construction with Resene® Environmental Choice paints and Insulwool® insulation featured.

Surprisingly roomy, the huts can fit bunks, two singles, or a queen size bed leaving adequate room for a chair and dressing table. Custom built bunks, foldaway beds and furniture can be installed to maximise space.

Costs

The basic Duck Hunters Hut with Colorsteel® walls, Colorsteel® lined and insulated roof, pine strandboard floor, unlined interior walls, wooden half barn door and colonial four pane window, retails at $10,900 (GST inclusive). Your selected options will reflect in the cost of each hut.

We are very pleased to discuss with you your individual needs and the options that are available. We expect each hut to be unique, built to reflect your individual requirements and choices.

Once options have been decided we will provide a detailed, ex-workshop quotation for your acceptance.
